Aunty Kaye's Doggy Dictionary of Training and Behaviour (forthcoming)
Kaye's Doggy Dictionary contains over 800 entries listed alphabetically. It is an encyclopedic work, explaining dog training concepts and terms in ways that you can understand.
Introduction
The Doggy Dictionary is my personal view of what to make of the terms and concepts that now form part of the dog trainer’s toolkit. It is not a psychology textbook, and the terms are not defined academically, although I hope that have not lost too much in the process of being translated into words that practical dog trainers can relate to. Not all of the entries come from behavioural science. Some are unique to dog training. I hope I have covered the knowledge base of the modern, sophisticated trainer using positive methods.
Entries are arranged alphabetically rather than by topic. However, there are many links in the text, connecting one entry to another. Links are indicated in bold underlined text. If you are a real dog training tragic, you can read to the book from cover to cover. Otherwise, just pick a topic that interests you and follow the links.
