Training Pepper2
Richard's wife Sally has a go at training Pepper.
Hi Kaye,
A terrible/wonderful thing has happened. Sally saw how much fun Pep and I
were having and decided to have a go. Last night and this morning I've been
preparing meals and washing up, while she has been getting the high fives
and the Kong fetched for her. THEY are doing really well!
I've never known Sally to show the slightest interest in training anything
(except me of course, maybe that put her off?).
I haven't heard back from Helen, but the more I think about it, the more I
want the experience of starting at 8 weeks. I'm still thinking about
breeding from Ming and incorporating what I learn into very early foal
training.I guess a possibility would be to get a mature dog to train to take
the pressure of finding the right pup. I could end up having too many dogs
if I start thinking too much like that.
Much to think about and fencing to do!
